Delectable online art exhibition raises valuable funds for Charlie Waller
November 02 2020

Alice produced a series of paintings featuring the food she dreamed of during lockdown, including lemon meringue pie, wobbly jelly and a steaming pot of mussels. The exhibition, called Art you want to eat! has generously donated a percentage of its sales to the Charlie Waller Trust.
The remaining works from the exhibition, presented by Kate Preston Art, are still available to buy at www.kateprestonart.com. Kate Preston Art will make a donation to Charlie Waller for any artwork purchased by a Charlie Waller supporter.
It was Alice’s “own battle with anxiety, and a breakdown in 2015” which led her to start painting full time. This proved to be “a ray of light”, which carried her through the darkness, developing into a passion that has become her career.
Clare Stafford, Chief Executive at the Charlie Waller Trust, said: “We’re hugely grateful to Alice and Kate Preston Art for their generous donation to our work. As we all prepare for the next phase of the pandemic, Charlie Waller will continue to deliver its work virtually to support the important issue of mental wellbeing during these challenging times.”
