Wellbeing Action Plan for young people

White curve

Our newly designed Wellbeing Action Plan for young people is ideal for students attending sixth form or college, whether or not they have experienced mental health issues. It's a practical tool that helps students think about how to look after their mental health, when they may need support and where to seek help. It includes ideas from other students and areas to fill in so it can become a useful personal resource that can be returned to often.

PLEASE NOTE - that this can also be used in KS4, although we do not recommend that it is given out to all pupils in a setting or year group. Instead, we suggest it is used to guide conversations with a pupil to help them identify their strengths and manage their wellbeing when they feel things are tough.

This ensures safe and supportive conversations, while also safeguarding against any unhelpful thoughts which would otherwise not be picked up by an adult. It can also aid communication with parents and carers, and consistency of support between home and school.
